I have 5 teenagers in my house now between the ages of 13 and 18. Two are mine, one is our international student, the other two, my niece and nephew visiting from Philadelphia.
You might not think that moving from 3 teens to 5 is a very big deal, and for the most part, you'd be right. They all get along and they're old enough to amuse themselves. What it does mean, is nearly continuous food preparation/shopping/cleanup. Even when they help, it's a lot of work. 5 teenagers means someone is always hungry. LOL.
And it means less writing time, but also less time to brood about THE BETWEEN's upcoming release.
I will enjoy my time as the fun Auntie, and hope for at least a little snow around these parts.
