32Poems: a Poem in 32 words

Abstract Numbers

Scattergrams of light
and dark illuminate
the indignities of bedside
commode and open backed gown
more clearly than bone mass.
Pinprick stars struggle to burn
through a void. Doctors
quantify the loss.
