I'm sitting here, bored out of my mind, (not to mention hungry and grouchy from lack of coffee) waiting for the surgeons to suck out my appendix.
Had the classic signs last night--sudden onset of right lower abdominal pain with nausea. I was going to tough it out, figuring, as most things, it would be better in the morning. Hubby put on his physician hat, watched me yelp when he touched my abdomen, and bundled me into the car and off to the ER.
One CT scan later: appendicitis.
I've been in the hospital since 8:30 last night, being pumped through with antibiotics, waiting for an operating room slot.
Since hubby couldn't bring me coffee, the next best thing was a laptop.
Hoping to be back on my feet in a day or two.
