Closing in on the elusive ending of "The Between." I ended with a scene between Clive and Aeon, a character I had not planned for in the outline, but who has woven himself into the fabric of the novel in such a way I cannot imagine the story without him.
He's an interesting character. A clear favorite with my readers, he is also a favorite of mine. Probably because while he is engaging and sympathetic, he is also more than a little devious.
Way to go, Lisa!!! I love it when that happens--when something unexpected bubbles up in drafting and it feels as though it should've been plotted that way... And, wow, you're getting far along in the story!
