I took this survey and found it very interesting. I am a person with many web-based friendships through two writing venues I participate in. There was an entire section of the survey devoted to who you know (eg, doctor, lawyer, laborer), how well you know them (acquantaince, friend, family) and how you met them (on-line or off-line). Judging by the way the sruvey is weighted, I have very little net-based interactions. In fact, I have over a dozen very close net-found friends. However, the vast majority of these individuals are writers and that was only one of the potential categories.
I will be interested in following the results of this survey.
